Look familiar? This is how I feel; and it's totally not me! I am used to teaching older children and being able to have mature conversations. My conversations sound like this, "Okay class who can tell what book gives us information about the province of Saskatchewan?" Here are the range of answers that I get:
- Mr. S you can find that information in a encyclopedia.
- Mr. S, did you know my cousins feet are this big (holds up a fist)!
- Mr.S, look at my capital D, isn't it pretty?
Oh man, this grade level is a change of pace. But I have this weekend to look forward to a nice 8hr race. Will let you know how things go.
